“Kenya is hands down one of the most incredible people I have ever met. I was Kenya's patient at the cystic fibrosis center at Mount Sinai. He is not only a huge advocate for all of his patients, but goes above and beyond to get the care they need. There have been a number of times when I needed something right away - not only did Kenya deliver, but would always ask what else he could do for me. Kenya treats his patients the same way he would treat his family or close friends. As a person, Kenya brings compassion for others, integrity, and a sense of calmness that is imperative in a social worker and psychotherapist. Kenya has been a lifeline for me, and someone that I could always depend on to get things done, to listen and to comfort me. He is everything a therapist should be.”

“Kenya’s charismatic personality creates a professional yet friendly atmosphere that allows his client to feel safe to work through the hard stuff. He is far from the traditional approach that relies on the question, “how do you feel about that?”. He is always ready to pick up where you left off—providing appropriate feedback and resources; this makes his session enjoyable and goal-oriented in a professional and friendly environment.”

“Kenya Wilder has been working with my daughter for almost a year. She was very withdrawn and kept to herself. Since working with Kenya, she has opened up to us. Her overall demeanor has changed. Her grades have improved in school. He works very well with her. Kenya has shown his concern for her at all times. He has gone above and beyond. We are so grateful for the way he cares for our daughter. We even recommended him to our family members. We look forward to continuing our relationship going forward.”

“I have known Kenya for some time now as a Social Worker, working for a CF doctor that treats my wife. Having transferred from another hospital in Albany we had no idea what we were missing in terms of the support that his position provides to patients. He has been diligent and relentless with the primary goal of easing the burden of all of the things his patients have to endure. He was always quick to respond and tenacious in solving difficult problems with health care insurance coverage, treatments, a shoulder to lean on and a host of other things. I'd say Kenya loved his job and took joy in helping others. Kenya is always upbeat, glass half full attitude and always a big smile on his face. Kenya is a true professional, amazing advocate and is someone my wife and I trust and respect.”

“I always greatly enjoyed having Kenya as my social worker at the Mount Sinai Cystic Fibrosis Center. He helped facilitate a lot of things to help improve my health. Emergency medication supplies, nice rooms for in-patient hospital stays, signing me up for fundraising bike rides, linking me with my current pharmacy, primary care physician, and therapist etc. In addition, he always seemed to have a genuine care for my mental and physical health and was able to make me laugh in most instances. He was always friendly and willing to help!”

“Kenya has been an amazing therapist on my healing journey. He has been working with me for almost a year. Since my start in working with him, my self esteem is better and I have excelled in parts of my life that were once stressors and triggers. He is supportive and listens to find actual solutions and action steps to encourage me make a better life for myself and family. Without this support, I do not think I would be where I am today. His personality is friendly, warming, and genuinely caring. I am grateful for the support I have received in his care.”

“Kenya has been life changing for our entire family. Especially our two daughter with Cystic Fibrosis. He listened to our concerns and helped us navigate the the various resources that were available for an individual with CF. Our youngest daughter is a teenager and often times struggles feeling different due to health condition and if there is one person that Logan trusts to speak with about her concerns it is Kenya. Kenya is such a positive individual and is always available to listen. There is not a person in my personal or professional life that doesn't know about Kenya and all the great things he has done for our family since we first met him at the CF clinic we have been going to for nearly 6 years.”
